Reading of Legends by Year at Sevilla Students

After the opening ceremony, a private visit to several rooms of the Real Alcázar was conducted by Professors Rafael Cid, María Castañeda, and Lola Bocanegra.  The  highlight of the visit was the reading of legends by Year at Sevilla students as each group passed through the selected rooms.

In the Salón de la Justicia, Stuart Jeckel retells the legend of "Las manchas de sangre del Maesre,"  as Larry King and Luis Uruñuela, President of EUSA and former mayor of Seville, listen in. 

 

Michael Munson reads the legend of "La elección de un Juez" in the Estanque de Mercurio.   

 

 Tara Shaver recalls the origin of the  "No-Do," symbol of the City of Seville, in the Salón del Almirante.

 

In the Sala de las Muñecas Lindsay Veit reads the legend of "Itimad la Romaiquia."
